Product Properties
A colorless, transparent, viscous liquid. Odorless, with a strongly acidic taste. Melting point: 42.35 °C. Readily soluble in water, soluble in ethanol. Can irritate skin, cause inflammation, and damage body tissues. Hygroscopic.

Application
Mainly used as food starter, and important additives for toothpaste, animal auxiliary feed, etc; it is directly used in drinks as a sour taste regulator, and widely used in fats, MSG, sugar andother food and related products as an indispensable reaction aid; also used for the productionof food grade phosphates.
