1.Daily Chemical Industry Due to the special optical properties, it can be used in sunscreen cosmetics, high-grade paints, and fine ceramics; in addition, because of the special photocatalytic properties, it has functions such as sterilization, anti-fouling, deodorization, self-cleaning, and so on. It can serve as an inorganic antibacterial agent in industries such as textiles and coatings.
2.Lithium-ion Batteries Effect on Cathode Materials: It reduces the formation of oxygen vacancies, thereby improving the structural stability of materials. It enhances the cycle performance of lithium batteries and reduces the resistance during the battery’s cycling process.
3.Photocatalysis When activated by UV light, nano titanium dioxide photocatalysts produce free radicals, which attack microbial cells, thus inhibiting the growth of bacteria, viruses, and algae. It can also degrade organic compounds, and ultimately generate water and carbon dioxide. Its excellent photocatalytic performance makes it suitable for applications such as air purification and wastewater treatment.
4.Silicone Rubber Nano titanium dioxide enhances silicone rubber by increasing the cross-linking reaction temperature of polysiloxane groups, improving heat aging resistance. Its high specific surface area boosts molecular contact and cross-linking strength, enhancing tear elongation. Additionally, its high reflectivity and optical activity absorb, reflect, and scatter UV light, providing better UV resistance and anti-aging properties to silicone rubber.
